Last year, Andy Bissett walked 500 miles in 72 days for the Foundation raising £3000. This year he wanted to take on an even greater challenge. Assuming the release from lockdown follows the plan with the major release in June, Andy, with his son, Harry, and his brother, Scott, are looking to walk 194km in three days on July 9-11 this year. Their route will start at Huddersfield Town and finish at Anfield, visiting 18 more sports stadia along the way. They will walk a little over 60km a day, supported by the lads from Redwood Events. The significance of the 194 is that this represents the exact number of league games that Stephen played for Bradford City.
Their aim is to raise in excess of £10,000 for the Foundation, but they aren’t stopping there. Football foodbanks have been hugely hampered through the pandemic. So they are looking to collect food along the way to make deposits at three football foodbanks in Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool. A small number of guest walkers will join them on each of the 29 stages and hopefully they will bring some non-perishable food donations too.

Massive thanks to Andy, Harry and Scott for coming up with this plan and getting it off the ground.
