MND Association Support

The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation is working closely with the long established MND Association to support people living with motor neurone disease (MND).

The MND Association website is a valuable resource, and offers a wealth of information, guidance, and signposting.  Below is a summary and links to some of the areas of support and information available, both locally and nationally.

General Support and Information

Financial Support Available

The MND Association offer a range of financial grants to support people living with MND. These range from support towards equipment costs and housing adaptations, to grants to improve quality of life. Support is also available for the main non-paid carer and young people affected by MND. Local Support Available

The MND Association offers a wide range of local support, through their network of branches and groups, MND care centres and networks and community services.  More information on what support is available in your local area can be found here.

A wealth of information is available on the MND Association website. This includes a wide range of award-winning booklets and information sheets and signposting to other useful organisations.
